This month Times Square Church in New York City has been celebrating 25 years of Pastor Carter Conlon being their leader. What a wonderful milestone that’s worth celebrating! In our experience, we know Pastor Carter to be a humble man, a man of integrity, and certainly a man of fervent prayer.
If you aren’t familiar with his story, we highly suggest that you read his most recent book called, It’s Time to Pray: God’s Power Changes Everything. In fact, if you would like a copy of it, I’d be happy to send one to you! You will learn more about his story and how God brought him to Times Square Church, which was previously shepherded by Pastor David Wilkerson, best known for The Cross and The Switchblade.
We are so honored to be able to serve alongside him in his radio ministry of It’s Time to Pray, a daily 1:00 feature and A Call to the Nation, a weekly 24:55 program. It’s a small piece to the puzzle of how God uses him to minister to so many and expand His kingdom!
In the short time that I personally have been serving his radio ministry here at Ambassador, I have had the privilege to meet him and experience a Sunday morning service at Times Square Church and heard him tell some of the amazing stories of how God has used him over the years. He has greatly impacted my life and walk with Jesus. I am so thankful to God for allowing my life to intersect with his ministry at Times Square Church and through Christian radio.
In an upcoming November broadcast of It’s Time to Pray, your listeners will be encouraged to join together in prayer and know that if they are down they can be lifted up in the body of Christ just as it proclaims in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, “that two are better than one” and “if we fall one will lift up his companion.” We thank God for your friendship as you stand with us in sharing that God’s power really can and does change everything.
