The opening words of the message Anne Graham Lotz gave at this weekend’s 40th anniversary celebration of the Evangelistic Association of Alberto Mottesi, La Fiesta.
Addressing the capacity crowd at the West Angeles Cathedral in Los Angeles, Anne shared about holding the hand of Christ . . . the only one way to get into heaven.
According to the U.S. Census data, the number of Spanish speakers in the country has been continuously growing since 1980 – it is estimated to reach up to 41 Million in the next 3 years!
Statistics such as these only underscore the need to reach out to the Spanish speaking community with the message of Christ’s hope – a reason why so many ministries, like AnGeL Ministries, make Spanish language resources available.
Next month, on May 4th, Anne will join thousands of others nationwide calling our country to pray as she leads the 66th annual National Day of Prayer.
The theme for the National Day of Prayer (NDOP) this year blends 2 Chronicles 7:14 with Daniel’s prayer in Chapter 9:19…For Your Great Name’s Sake! … hear us… forgive us… heal us.

“All of us can agree that our nation needs healing. And God promises to do so, but on the condition that we pray humbly, seek His face, and turn from our own sin.
Will America be healed? We won’t know until we join together and pray. So please. Join me in prayer on behalf of America. And invite others to join us.”
Whatever language used, our Heavenly Father hears our prayers – through prayer, the hearts and minds of people can be transformed and turned to Jesus.
