We have a puzzle that’s been in the family for years. We’ve put it together and taken it a part countless times since my children were toddlers. It’s a puzzle of the United States . . . with one piece missing.
The hole in the puzzle is Delaware. We’ve often imagined finding the missing piece and with Delaware in place, having a better appreciation of the “lay-out of the land.” To date, though, the piece remains missing.
I thought about the puzzle when I recently began listening to an audio version of the Bible – listening to His Word has been like the missing puzzle piece for me in my devotional time . . . enriching my appreciation for it.
This is why I’m so excited about a new initiative from Anne Graham Lotz.
As an outgrowth of her study in Hezekiah – when God’s people were transformed by the reading of God’s Word, Anne is facilitating 888: God Speaking, a special project for August 1-8 when believers will be called to listen to God’s Word again.
For eight historic days, thousands will be hearing the same portions of Scripture in a one-hour daily segment (available August 1-8 at the Godspeaking.com web site).

Here are your three steps to participate:
1 . Air the :30 PSAs and/or liners, voiced by Anne, James MacDonald and Eric Metaxas, inviting your listeners to listen to God’s Word together by signing-up at godspeaking.com. Each day (8/1-8), they’ll receive a 60 minute audio segment (or two 30 minute segments) of Scripture (dramatized or non-dramatized) delivered to their email.
2 . Upload banner/graphics (available here) to your web site and/or social media platforms encouraging your listeners to sign up at godspeaking.com.
3 . Visit our web site for the fact sheet or contact me for further detail!
