As a Christian radio station, are you adding to the cultural confusion or helping to clear it? Your listeners may find it hard to stay on top of the latest news, and are confused about when and how to apply their faith to constantly changing cultural trends.
A friend of mine recently posted this question on Facebook, “If you were going to follow one news source, what would it be?” Not surprising, the comments included various news outlets like:
- Fox News
- CNN
- BBC
- NPR
- Facebook feed
- The Babylon Bee (!)
I would have said, “none of the above!” Sadly, the reality for us today is that there isn’t one singular news source that we can trust or rely on.
I also noticed that no one commented with, “my local Christian radio station.” But, we know the impact of Christian radio and that you are faithfully bringing your listeners truth every day through the sound, biblical teaching programs, news stories, and more.
Do you realize the influence you have in your community?
You have a unique platform and a devoted group of “followers” to share Truth and by airing BreakPoint programs, you’re giving listeners clarity and insight on how to apply a Christian worldview to the cultural issues that often dominate our news.
John Stonestreet, President of The Colson Center says,
“Our culture is incredibly confused about sexuality, morality, identity and spirituality. You and I must be able to meet the confusion around us with certainty, clarity and compassion.
Thank you for helping equip more believers to live out and defend the Christian worldview.”
