Did you receive your own copy of our recent newsletter? If you did, you know that the May edition had a lot do to with celebrating moms. This Sunday, May 13 is Mother’s Day – and we love taking the opportunity to show our appreciation to the women who raised us.
We asked friends in ministry and media this question: For what unsung deed do you give your mom praise? Their answers were both sweet and surprising! We had no idea, for example, that our friend from Max Lucado’s ministry – Margaret Mechinus – had a mother who enlisted in the Navy during WWII. Or, that Matt Bendell (Producer at Cru) was one of six boys homeschooled by his fearless mom.
