Born in Texas and raised in Minnesota, Lydia Webster spent her childhood drawing, painting, and running around with her four older brothers. She was interested in visual graphics and communication from a young age, due in some part to being bilingual in American Sign Language, taught by her fully Deaf parents. Moving to California, Lydia puts one more staff member on the board for Biola University, graduating in 2012 with a BFA in Art with an emphasis in Design. This was the setting for endless fascination and inspiration, seeing the ways that the arts and faith intersect and inform each other.
Since graduation, Lydia has worked in various fields such as engineering, fashion, tech, entertainment and travel, providing creative strategy and graphics for many well-known brands. With experience in a wide variety of projects, her expertise includes the full spectrum of print and digital media, from typesetting a book by hand to developing mobile apps and front-end website development. She continues to be passionate about design and the role it plays in connecting people and enabling them to share beautiful stories across life and faith!
Married to husband, Chris, for nearly a decade, Lydia is also mom to Isabelle and Ezra. She loves cooking and doing nail art in her spare time, as well as keeping aquarium fish and being involved in her online parenting groups where she is a moderator.
