On June 1st, Nancy gathered the team at Revive Our Hearts together and went LIVE on Facebook to share a special ministry update with supporters. She shared that prior to their fiscal year-end in May, their leadership had already taken action to reduce their budget, but they were still at a point of significant financial need, their most stretching time since 2010. These past several weeks have been a focused time devoted to prayer, asking the Lord to provide through the generosity of His people.
So, Nancy had pre-determined that no matter the results of May giving towards their fiscal year-end need, they would gather on June 1st to thank the Lord and acknowledge His provision no matter what it was.
While in this time of waiting on the Lord, Nancy shared that among many Scripture verses that ministered to her, this passage from Psalm 145:15-17 counseled her heart. It says . . .
The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His works.
