I’ve been working with BreakPoint radio and the Colson Center for many years now and an area of their ministry that always intrigued me is their unique discipleship program, formerly called “Centurions.” But I wondered if I was the right candidate for the program and in what way could I contribute to this in-depth learning experience? Well, back in 2013, I took a leap and dove head first into their program, now referred to as Colson Fellows.
And, I agree with the ministry when they say that the Colson Fellows Program is made up of people like you and me: people who want to make a difference in the world. While my world outside of work includes my priorities as a wife and a mom, I can testify that this program has helped me have the right perspective and foundation when discussing today’s most difficult cultural issues with my teenage children, and with other parents.
If you are looking for a study program that will help you grow deeper in your understanding of Christian worldview and how to apply it, then I strongly encourage you to consider joining the next class.
Evelyn Gibson from our Ambassador team is in the last quarter in completing the program. She was recently in Orlando where she and 150 plus members of the 2016/2017 Colson Center Fellows Program class convened for their final residency before being commissioned as “Fellows” at the May 19-21 annual Wilberforce Weekend in Washington, D.C. She invites anyone who might be interested in the program to “ask me about this unique worldview discipleship program. But be ready! I can go on and on in expressing my enthusiasm!”
