Yummy Banana Coffee Cake

Serves 12
Ingredients:
1½ cups flour
1 cup sugar
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ cup butter or margarine (softened)
2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
3 medium very ripe bananas, mashed
1 teaspoon lemon juice
½ cup nuts (optional)
Topping:
2/3 cups sugar
1/3 cup flour
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ cup butter, softened
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350˚. Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl and beat at medium speed until thoroughly mixed. Spread in a 9 x 13 baking dish which has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Prepare topping.
Combine all dry ingredients; add butter and cut with a pastry blender (or fork) until all particles are fine. Sprinkle topping over coffee cake. Bake for 45-50 minutes until coffee cake tests done. Serve warm.
