I think we would all agree that there is much that’s wrong with the world, but as Christians, we must not lose hope for our culture. We must continue to use our voice to speak up and be bold when we need to be.
Dr. Jim Garlow has founded a new ministry called Well Versed and in a recent interview with My Faith Votes, Jim shared more about his concerns for our culture and how Christians can bring biblical change to our spheres of influence.
He stresses the importance of having a biblical worldview and when asked “How can Christians take bold steps to change culture?” . . . here is an excerpt of his response:
Number one, care. Care about the nation. Care about what’s happening in the community. We operate under this myth that the way things are, are the way things are going to stay. That is not true.
Cultures come and cultures go. Nations come and nations go. All the great nations that once existed never thought they would be done, but they ended, every one of them. America is not going to last forever. And we can bring it to a painstaking close by simply defaulting and not showing up for the game.
For example, the reason we know the stories of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? They were bold! The reason we know the story of Dietrich Bonhoeffer? He was bold! Everybody likes to preach about him; it’s time we start acting like him.
So be willing to be a part of the remnant and understand that you might be on the wrong side of history, but you will be on the right side of eternity.
I encourage you to read the full article and share it with your listeners; talk about it on the air so your audience is both informed and equipped to discuss these issues with others.

May God bless you and your ministry as you boldly share the hope of Christ with your community.
